Through strategic initiatives, impactful partnerships and ally building, we aim to remove cultural, socioeconomic and educational barriers, ensuring that every woman has the resources and opportunities needed to thrive in the entrepreneurial landscape.

Megan Del Borrello
Megan Del Borrello is the CEO and Founder of We Are Emersyn and the Chairperson of the We Are Emersyn Foundation.
Megan’s mission is to advance women through entrepreneurship.
Named as one of Inside Small Businesses Top 50 Small Business Leaders in 2019, Megan is a professional marketer, strategist and experienced entrepreneur with over 20 years experience, as well as an advocate for female entrepreneurs.
Megan has been a speaker and presenter for the Accelerator for Enterprising Women, Centre for Entrepreneurial Research & Innovation, Google Women Techmakers, Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce, Curtin Ignition, Women in Business Forum, City of Canning, Curtin Ignition, Big Ideas Rural and Her Societe, to name a few.
Megan is a current Meshpoints Steward, mentors founders and previously served on the board and as the marketing and communications chair for the not for profit, 100 Women.
As a Mum of two young children, Megan knows first-hand how challenging being a female founder is. And it’s this reason that she is changing the narrative on female founders and creating an ecosystem for them to be supported and thrive.
Michelle Maynard
Michelle Maynard has been a Partner with Carbon Group since 2017, bringing a wealth of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Michelle started her career as a cadet in the Australian Taxation Office, then as a graduate at PwC and before joining Carbon, she was a manager at PKF.
Michelle specialises in providing tax and accounting advice to SMEs and HNWIs and their family groups, working to achieve the most effective strategies for them and to help achieve their desired lifestyle.
Since joining Carbon, she has also been recognised as a Top 50 Women in Accounting (2018), New Partner of the Year (2019), 40under40 (2020), 20 Future Chartered Accountants of the Future (2021) and Top 50 Small Business Leaders (2022). Furthermore, she is also Channel 9’s Finance Expert and has been dubbed Michelle Money Maynard by Mix 94.5.
Marlon Juenemann
Marlon is the Managing Director of Ubuntu Ventures and a global citizen, driven by his passion for entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy. With a strong focus on mentoring and strategic advisory, he thrives on guiding individuals and organizations towards growth and success.
With over 15 years of experience in management consulting and startups, Marlon has made his mark as both a founder of a strategy consulting boutique firm and several successful ventures, including a fintech and a SaaS B2B platform business. His key focus has been on the Asia Pacific, European, and Middle Eastern regions.
Marlon possesses a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit and operational management skills. Equipped with a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA in Project and Process Management, he has honed his abilities through years of international venture building experience. He is skilled at building and scaling companies, fostering cross-border teams, and nurturing talent through mentoring and development.
As a seasoned leader and accomplished business strategist, Marlon excels in breaking down complex problems, challenging the status quo, and delivering practical, commercially viable solutions. He has extensive experience in leading and guiding businesses across the technology, finance, and professional services sectors, from inception to capital raising, market entry, stakeholder management, organizational development, and operational expansion.
His collaborative work with accelerators and entrepreneurial programs brings him immense joy, knowing the profound impact these participants have on the business world.
